Evano Oruvan Falling Down

December 14, 2007 · 5 Comments

Movie: Evano Oruvan
Direction: Nishikanth Kamat
Acting: Madhavan & co

“Nishikanth Kamath’s ‘Evano Oruvan’, a Tamil adaptation of Marathi film Dombivily Fast by the same director, tries to focus on the disgusting anomalies of the system. The film opens with showing the routine of a family that lives in the outskirts of Chennai. The routine is full of struggles for various things like water, space in a train, time to relax, and of course, money……” Movie Review

Dei flim crew dudes.. did you guys ever watched Michael_DouglasFalling Down. I am completely ok with the remake but please give some assertive courtesy to where you got inspired. Right from the coke scene to every emotions are portraying M.Douglas. Then what the hell is from a Marathi flim Dombivily and self portraying its a critically acclaimed movie ?

Over all its a nice Indianish take, with various chennai feell. Every body acted well and
“Why i am not getting those mundane angers with in me ?”

Its a bliss

November 19, 2007 · 10 Comments

    More than the thalai deepavali we enjoyed thalai snow @our place. Cold Snowy evening tagged with hot hot kutty kutty Kuzhi Paniyaram with pale white coconut chutney having occasional kaduku, karuvapillai, ulthu is a bliss.

Celebrating functions is one thing which adds on closeness between relationships. We all went through the similar patterns of life like running behind various festival works, collect festival groceries etc. It’s something we all enjoy. On a related note I fondly remember one great cherubic instance prevails in my heart.
When ever any big time Murukku kind of oil chit-chat preparation my mom used to keep one full tumbler of water next to the gas stove. No body should touch it till the products are getting into our traditional vessel – sambaDam. As I grow my curiosity to drink that water, try to take it is increased. Suspense part is no one know the secret “why the tumbler full of water kept next to the gas stove. “. One fine day my sweet torture on her got me the sweetest answer in the world.
She started talking to Murukku Mavu in a manner
“Murukku mavau Murukku mavau nee thani ellam kudichukka aana oil mattum kudikathey ” :)
I am mesmerized with that answer. If you have very good understanding about cookery practice and love that job then only you can talk like that. It’s like how guys talk to their bike or what so ever. It’s so amazing to have a heart like that. Any ways over a period of time she moved of out that nascent track is another side of story.

Over to present –
After a sweet rumbling debate we got our deepavali potpourri items. I am thrilled to see My She doing Murukku @ mid-night 12.00am with

  • An on-call support,
  • Having tons of recipe websites opened,
  • Working out the ratio in converting X gram of rice floor vs. Y gram of some other thing to percentage ratio.
  • On top she runs a simple chemical lab in kitchen. It has all quantities of spoons, cups, karaindies etc and with that she comes up with very secret ratio of food products

Our deepavali potpourris are

  • Murukku
  • Oomapodi with-out Oomam
  • Gulab jamun
  • 7 Cups
  • Almond Halwa

okies comming to the title. :)
I am gonna suggest instead of oomam use cinnamon for a change. Its called Cinnamon podi:) Buzz you all if CinnamonPodi turns good.

Until then “Wish you a very happy & safe deepavali “.

Gone in 60 seconds

Capture chennai in 60 seconds. 3.11pm(here)

Chennapatnam, one hundred and eighty one square kilometers huge, four point three four million people rich, ever wondered what goes on in this vast expanse of heat and humidity at every second, every minute and every hour of every day. From Mahabalipuram to Maraimalainagar, extending all the way to Chengalpet, imagine all the various things that could be going on at any one instant. One small attempt to forever capture one instant of this metropolitan is ‘03:11 PM’”

KathaaVilasam

Its been an year i moved out of my home country. This is the main thing wiring inside my brain for the past two weeks. I am thinking, introspecting the “Now n Then” aspect of it..

Past Present
Past:: I was criticed by my family members that i am gonna miss my life ?
Present:: Yes there is a slight move but i know my estimation graph can digest that.

Past:: I was strictly warned by my granny saying “i am behind money” ?
Present:: Its again an “I-factor” . Money is also one point but thats not the first point of me. Grany is a Grany is a Grany.

Past:: I was untrusted by my close friend after the revealing and moved out of the circle?
Present:: So far its an un-answered mystery to me more than my friend. certain things are closer and closer made wider – Kathaavilasam.

Past:: I went through very tuff family commotions
Present:: we are happy.

Past:: My Empolyment history( crediability, empolyment status, team, etc etc ) moved to recycle bin.
Present:: “Bo.urne Ulti.matum” will come soon.

Past:: My dream house is with some body?
Present:: Present continous.

Past:: My karna – the black horse ( KA -04 WXYZ ) is with my friend?
Present:: Past perfect.

Past:: I miss my veena stores idli, brindhavan meals, jayanagar bhajiis, etc etc
Present:: Mad Max.Dennys.Star Bucks.etc etc

Past:: My work dynamics, spectrum of things and approach towards technology?
Present:: I realized that i can’t live with my past glory. This is one big mistake i did in the past 7 months. i am comming back.

Past:: Early morning music classes. after a brief practice 15mints of spicy converations about some aspect of music and then a coffee. in Indira nagar.
Present: ekalivaya.

so still i am munching a lot in this .. may be i can update as n when i come across. By n large i am seeing the move is positive.

Analysis: Every decision of yours be critized, un-trusted by some body. if your estimation graph is perfect and create good pace within your life its worthwhile to take with some hiccups. Its time to run fast. thats what i learnt.

comming to the title its one of the good book i red in vikatan and then purchased a own copy too. kudos to s.ramakrishana. I like the pattern of book and every chapter of it. Book comprises of good user experiance. Good one and now its not with me also. :)

P.S>> red color is the past critics and gradient of present answers the fuzzy state of past to present.
