1931 – Milestone era for motion pictures in India. Yes it’s a birth to Alam-ara first full length talkie motion picture. In the same year Mahakavi kalidas first Tamil movie also released.
Ok… comming to the point we all know that Rathakanneer rendered by M.R.Radha in mid 1960s bagged good name in all aspects. Later in 2005 I guess kannada star Upendra re-created Rathakanneeru by clone the formers dialogue and screen play. This is again a phenomenal success and critically acclaimed as an it’s a remake, but if u dig further we all feel the strong friendly relationship between our fore fathers. yup movies original theme was captured from a kannada stage drama kalchakara scripted by father of kannada movie history – Perianna. I can quote trillions of incidents for the good relationship over a period of time to till now (of course personally I gained good knowledge from these people).
But what I couldn’t explain the gap created by alpha people to achieve short term pleasures

Pulikeshi – A Naming collision

Imasi arasan – 23rd pulikeshi a fictional fame screenplay rendered by simbu devans.
It’s a 17th century period movie and a copy cat pattern of our good old 1960 to 70 period movies.
Movies accents with don-Quixote and Zorro kind of twin heroic characters who fight for good will.
That’s the entire movie about.

Notion of the blog is not to write any review (even though I love to do that) but A bit of hard feeling about the banning of this movie in Karnataka, as the name “pulikeshi” spoils the name of traditional hero.

Delving further Pulikeshi a 7th century( 642 B.C ) chalukeya dynasty chronicle hero. pulikesi considered to be one of the royal king in south India who expanded his dynasty by defeating Harsha dynasty. Well after pulikesai I and II his empire got spilt by 5 divisions ruled by his sons. Vikarmatiya is the next famous hero from his gene ( who doesn’t have a surname of Pulikesai even though he is a next successor).

I guess it’s a mythological sin that Pallavs of Kanchipuram Vs Pulikesai of Bhaumi had family fight Pulikesai I defeated by Mahendravarma Pallavar and in return Narshimavarma pallava defeated Pulikesai II and the story continues till now by blocking 27th pulikesai

After a descent amount of stint in Karnataka I know lots of kanadigas who are language neutral, highly intellectual, very sweet.. they don’t like such non-sense.

Thirumaangalya Dharunam

My favorite school, theru( street ), family friend got married last week. I had a grt8 week-end by meeting all schooly gangs with full fun teasing, updates and mirchi stuffs..

Bride and Bride groom family members are “The die-hard” followers of DMK and they portrayed it’s a social reform marriage.

I have red lot about social reform marriages and this is the first time I am seeing that in life as my close friend is a hero.

I tightly agree and respect the concept of social reform. But what I don’t understand is that how come 10 years politically experienced MLA can head/host this lively occasion and talk some crap and give thaali to bride and bridegroom.

I felt that manavari( marriage stand ) is nothing but set of white-shirt and dhotis, bride, bridegroom and camera people. We couldn’t even see what’s happening there.

Probably they could have planned like white-dhotis will head the occasion and big person in the family will bless and give thaali to the couples.
Its a non-sense software engineer CMMI thoughts and casual remedial analysis.. nothing will workout other than blog..

Over all it’s a good show with different approach to the marriage….
